Medieval Gown and Cloak by Eveningarwen Medieval Gown and Cloak by Eveningarwen
Full use as long as you drastically alter the photo. Do not repost and claim as your own. Do not just do minimal touch ups and sell as a print. I'm allowing full use only if it looks like it has really been worked on and turned into your own version of art. Please no overly sexual use or use of this photo to promote hatred towards any race, sex or sexual orientation. I'm assuming this isn't the photo that would be used for that kind of thing lol but you never know.

PLEASE ONLY USE PHOTOS THAT SAY THEY HAVE FULL USE IN THE DESCRIPTION. DO NOT USE MY OTHER STOCK PHOTOS FOR FULL USE RIGHT NOW. IF THERE IS ANOTHER PHOTO YOU WANT TO USE ASK ME AND I WILL DECIDE IF I WANT TO LET THAT PHOTO GET USED FOR YOUR WORK.

I know my other photos I have a lot of restrictions with and I'm willing to try and have some photos with absolutely no restrictions so I figured I'd try that out with this photo as well as the one I posted previously without my cloak on. This photo is untouched and not resized so it is very large. This photo is the same one as the redone one that I have on my gallery if you want to look and see how that came out.

So yeah, have fun and please link to my page as the model and also let me know when you've created something!!!! I'm really hoping to get some amazing works with my photos because I absolutely love to see what creations happen with them.

This is lovely! Is it alright if I share this on my business FB page with links back to your DA and/or personal site? With permission I like to share the images I enjoy and use them as my header images in order to showcase the work some more. If not that's fine although I would love to get a full size image to print out for my home book of works that I like if possible. :D

I would like to comment again on these types of statements as it is sometimes frustrating when others don't take a moment to realize that the internet is a place to try and be seen and in order to be seen you have to use a phrase called "search terms". Is this actually medieval accurate?? Of course not. Is it medieval inspired/reminiscent?? Yes. Therefore I put the phrase medieval on it. Because I guarantee when someone is looking for a fantasy gown or a medieval costume they look for pieces like this. Not true replicas with authentic fabric and sewing technique. Not many have the patience for something like that to be created or the money. I was educated in costuming and I do know costume and fashion history. I know what is and is not correct. Again, this is a costume not a replica of a period piece. Costume. Fun. Fantasy. I have a business making costumes and as much as I would love to be "term accurate" in order to fulfill the need for those out there who are aware that this is not accurate to not be irritated I would alas have no business because no one would be able to find my work. And I most certainly would not have business from those who do realize what is and isn't legit because more then likely they/you are making your own replicas. Did you make this comment to be mocking or malicious? I have no idea. Did you make it to subtly try and insult my intelligence and craft. Most likely because otherwise why bother making a comment like this at all? I do wonder if you send messages to all the TV and film studios when they make their highly "accurate" fantasy films that are supposed to be based off of medieval, King Arthur, Roman ect ect times. Or if you comment on every photo manip that has a period term in the title with less the period accurate stock used no matter how well executed.

well then why not name it medieval fantasy gown and cloak? it would not take any effort and give a much better impression of you and your work ;)

Because I already have that name for my other pieces. And really after a while it's a bit exhausting having to constantly come up with names and titles for pieces to entertain everyone. I run my own business while also dealing with a newborn baby, a mother who just moved in, just buying a house and getting it settled and trying to do everday things as well like chores, clean house and cook. Now I know it may seem that I have all the time in the world since I'm posting here and arguing over something as stupid as your one negative comment in the midst of nothing but congratulations but hey....I guess every once in a while it's nice to defend myself. I know for a fact that my work gives out a brilliant impression and everyone who has ever ordered and dealt with me have been over the moon happy. Perhaps one day I will have an unhappy customer because obviously luck can't be brilliant forever in that regards but I do a pretty good job making sure that doesn't happen. But hey, looking at your page I see you're an expert in costuming and clothing making so please do create something to compare to my work so I can properly bow down to your expertise. I'm glad this is all funny for you but personally your type of "trolling" is more offensive to me then those who decide to say nothing but nasty sexual references or call me fat. You consider yourself an artist and yet you decide to try and mock and tear down another artist. You really wanted to make your point known and informed me that it would have been best to change the title of my work?? Then private message me and say "Hey, for those of us that prefer those terms to mean the legit representation of that era could you label it a fantasy gown instead?" Instead you decided to take the oh so mature route of comparing my work to plastic cups in a way that was public for others to see. If you hate my piece and think it's hideous and an outrage against the medieval era that I've called it so then fine. I personally have no problem with that. I do have a problem with immature and quick to insult "trolling" that attacks people's work whether their work is good or not. It's pathetic. My work is artwork or fine art photography. Here's a thought but when I upload my stuff onto DA I'm not sitting there thinking what can I call it that will really piss people off or what can I call it to make myself seem real legit. I name it in all of 2 seconds to it is easy for others to find and gives a general idea of what it is.

I'm glad that you're life is so brilliant that you have the time to get into a tizzy over stuff like this so much so that you decided to take the time to insult my work. And I think that's great. I'm glad that your life is calm and wonderful and full of passion for art. I don't actually wish negativity onto anyone which is why no matter what I thought of a piece or title or anything I saw online I would never.....EVER.....comment on it. Because everyone should be left to enjoy their passion without having a naysayer come in and try and rain on their parade. If someone gets recognized for something I say good for them. I think negativity and insults is a waste of time and a result of a low grade of character. And while the internet is a great place for self employed artists to be seen and self fun businesses to get their product out it's also a place filled with hate and animosity. And I think that's unfortunate as this is supposed to be a place where fellow artists get together and help each other and support each other. I'm sorry with as much as you seem to love art that you've decided the greatest thing you can do with your time is try to belittle what I do. Especially since you failed. What you said doesn't actually make me angry or rethink my work and what I do. It just makes me sad and not for myself.

Honey, that "loony" chick is just that, looney. She goes out of her way to say something negative on everything she comments on. Regardless. I have never once seen her leave a nice comment to anyone, ever! She does it for attention.

lol well that's good to know. I mean, I figured and I know people who leave comments like that couldn't care less about what you have to say back to them. If her page was empty I wouldn't have said anything but when I saw she also did art it just really irked me lol. More then anything I hate when other artists tear each other down. I'm not saying you can't critique work or make a suggestion or even just not like that persons work but to purposefully go after someone who is into the general field as yourself for the joy of it just makes me feel really sad for her. To have so much negativity in the way you think that your only form of entertainment is to mock others means that persons quality of life/self confidence must be pretty low. Oh well, I said my piece for the year lol so any other negative comments that I randomly get will just get an eye roll and ignore from me hahahah!
